My name is Adam Nelson-Ockenfels and I am a freelance photographer who founded NOA - Photography, and I also work with Complete Weddings/Events. In addition to starting my own photography business and working as a freelance photographer, I am also finishing my degree in photography.

What is my photographic journey?

I have been passionately photographing everything under the sun for several years, but within the last few years my passion has become my profession. I became interested in casual photography several years ago as a pastime that I enjoyed. However, the more I photographed, the more people saw my work, the more in demand my photography became. Friends started requesting photo shoots, siblings of friends began requesting senior pictures, coworkers wanted weddings photographed, and strangers reached out for prints. This encouraged me to invest and take my hobby far more seriously. I am currently finishing my Bachelor of Arts from the University of Iowa with a dual emphasis in photography and ceramics.  I regularly shoot weddings, events, wildlife, abstract work, and anything else people are interested in. I am here to provide quality work at an affordable price as I continue turning my passion into my profession.
